BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS.

There are many photo contests in the world of photography. Many of them have a specific theme, others include many categories.

Participation in competitions provides new and unique opportunities for photographers. At its core, photography cannot exist without an audience. It is very difficult for photographers to grow if they do not receive feedback.

It is a big mistake to think that photographers need to participate in competitions only for the sake of prizes. The most valuable thing a photographer gets is popularity and the opportunity to expand their audience of viewers and fans. Competition results are often viewed by galleries, journalists, magazine editors and private collectors, so it's important to maintain your own visibility at international events.

Today we want to talk about a new international photography competition – Best Photography Awards ; www.bestphotographyawards.com

Some ambition is immediately felt in the title, but the organizers look at the words BEST from a completely different angle. This word is seen as a philosophy of improving and learning something new and, first of all, being the best for yourself. Even if the photographer did not win the main prize, this is not a reason to stop and give up, this is just the beginning of an exciting journey!

The mission of BEST PHOTOGRAPHY AWARDS is to recognize, reward and present talented, BEST photographers from around the world and introduce them to the creative community.

The organizers pay special attention to promoting and establishing relationships with both photographers and organizations that are ready to support the art of photography.

The panel of judges includes real professionals in the field of photography, art and media. This will allow each author to receive an objective assessment.

The Best Photography Awards competition offers two sections for participation: Professional photographers and Amateur photographers. Each section has 9 different categories ranging from photojournalism to art photography. Almost any photographer will be able to find the right category for himself to participate.

The open call has already started, which means that photographers from all over the world are starting to send their best photos to participate. Applying on the official website is very simple and will take you 5-10 minutes.

More information can be found on the FAQ page.

We wish good luck to the participants of the competition.

Fashion photographers have been a significant component of the Modeling industry throughout history. Check out these 7 outstanding photographers today.
Without fashion photographers, the modeling industry wouldn't be able to function. And without some of the biggest names in the business, it certainly wouldn't be what it is today.

Read on to learn more about some of the well-known and popular photographers who have made their mark on every aspect of the industry.

Photography in the Modeling Industry

In an age where many people are using editing apps before their photos hit Instagram, the search for perfection continues to grow.

But for many of the most prolific photographers in the modeling industry, their careers have never been about perfection. Instead, the aim has always been to show their subject's flaws in the best possible light.

Here are some of the modeling industry's best photographers:

1. Mario Testino

Testino's career has spanned more than three decades. During that time, he's worked with some of the biggest names in the industry, including Gisele Bundchen and Kate Moss.

His work has been featured in advertising campaigns around the world. These include Versace, Dolce & Gabbana Gucci, and Burberry.

2. Irving Penn

Irving Penn (1917-2009) is another hugely prolific photographer. His work spans seven decades, and his photos are known for their elegance.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art will be exhibiting a comprehensive retrospective of Irving Penn's work in April. A book will also be released which is an interesting account of some of his inner conflict due to his minimalist style and the extravagant trends often seen in the fashion industry.

3. Helmet Newton

Newton has received many awards over the years. In 1999 her was given the "Life Legend Award for Lifetime Achievement in Magazine Photography" by Life Magazine.

His long career has revolutionized the industry, and he even has a museum dedicated to his work in Berlin.

4. Steven Meisel

Meisel remains one of the modeling industry's most iconic photographers. Models around the world aspire to work with him, and he's been the photographer for every Vogue Italia cover since 1988.

5. Annie Leibovitz

No list of photography legends would be complete without Annie Leibovitz. She remains one of the most famous portrait photographers in the United States. In 1970

In 1970 she began working for Rolling Stone and was the chief photographer by 1973. She began working for Vogue in 1998 and has created some of the most influential magazine covers and advertising campaigns in history.

6. Albert Watson

Albert Watson is famous for his striking images, which have appeared on more than 100 Vogue covers globally. His work has been featured in many other publications, Vibe to Time to Rolling Stone.

Born in Scotland, Watson moved to the US in 1970 and began his career as a hobby while working as a school teacher in LA.

Since then, he's worked on successful advertising campaigns for some of the biggest corporations in the world, including Chanel, Revlon, Levis, the Gap, and Prada.

7. Terry Richardson

Richardson has been called "The Last Great Fashion Photographer" in a book by Michael Gross.

His career spans three decades and it has been controversial. For many, however, there's little doubt that he's still the foremost photographer in the fashion and modeling industry today.
